If you somehow are still unfamiliar with World of WarCraft, then you must not play many videogames or talk to people who play games. Not that there's anything wrong with that; we need people willing to work and produce things and live... real life. We can't all spend  in Blizzard's MMRPG world of Azeroth.

This second expansion opens up the frigid northern continent of Northrend. Familiar players will find new content, a new villain, and 10 new experience levels to play with (taking the cap up to 80, if you're counting). Unfamiliar players will probably not know what any of this means. The critics agree that if you are deep enough into World of WarCraft to want new content, then Wrath of the Lich King will not disappoint.

[ A ] 1UP says "At this point, either World of WarCraft is your life, or you want nothing to do with it. This second expansion to Blizzard's massively multiplayer role-playing game, Wrath of the Lich King, serves as an epic reward exclusively for WOW lifers, sending veteran players to the snow-covered continent of Northrend for 10 new experience levels (with 80 as the new cap) and a go at the armies of the titular (and arguably ultimate) WarCraft villain. In short: If you're a WOW player, you want more WOW -- and that's exactly what Wrath gives you. If you have no idea what any of this means, you're better off checking here and here; you'll get nothing out of this game. "

[ 9.0 ] Gamespot says "The second World of Warcraft expansion doesn't do anything for new players, but there's plenty of great content for anyone who's reached at least level 55."

[ 9.1 ] ActionTrip says "Viruses are not your friends. This, incidentally, has nothing to do with the fact I'm writing this on December first, also known as Aids Awareness Day. Viruses are not only not friendly (you wish you could write this well, don't you?), they are downright bad. Sure, they are bad in their digital form, but it's the flesh-nesting ones that can really sting."
