[ 9 ] GameDaily Reviews says "Star Wars meets Grand Theft Auto in Sony's exclusive open world video game, inFAMOUS. After a mysterious explosion rocks Empire City and imbues Cole MacGrath with electrical powers (more like Force Lightning), you set off on a journey to not only get to the bottom of the incident, but also realize Cole's destiny. The decision to perform good or evil deeds drives the experience, as you gain access to new missions and interact with non-player characters in unique ways (will you become hero or villain?)."[ 9.2 ] IGN PS3 says "Spider-Man 2 the videogame will always hold a special place in my heart. After decades of games taking superheroes, assigning their abilities halfhearted meters, and sticking them in beat'em ups, Spider-Man 2 put you behind the web-head's mask and let you loose on an open-world. The game had citizens packing side missions, enemies roaming the city, and more. Of course, it also had a bunch of problems, but it at least gave the world a glimpse of what a superhero game could be. Surely, someone would pick up the idea, polish it, and run with it… right? "

That's the predicament at the centre of Sucker Punch's Infamous, an open world game with a superhero lilt that's easily one of the finest PlayStation 3 exclusives to date. "
[ 8.6 ] IGN PS3 says "Afros, corn rows, crew cuts, dreads, mohawks, mullets, pompadours… there are a hell of a lot of haircuts out there. So why is it that developers currently seem to be obsessed with near-bald characters? Every second protagonist these days is a white male with close cropped hair (or none at all) that you wouldn't be able to pick out of a line-up of one. Is it simply a reflection of the perceived target market? Or is it so that you more fully step into the shoes of that character? In the case of Infamous it's most likely the latter. The player character - Cole - is shaped, not through his looks, but through his actions. It's up to the player to make near-constant moral and ethical decisions during the game to determine what kind of person Cole is. You become the character, and statistically speaking that's likely to be a whole lot easier when he's a generic white guy blank slate; as opposed to, say, an obese Eurasian post-op transsexual Nazi driving instructor."
